Snowpark Kaunertal – Snowboarden am Gletscher in Tirol
A lot German freeskiers from Germany are already represented quite sucessfully in the international competition circus. But a national competition which shows the level of German freeskiers hasn`t taken place yet. In close collaboration with the German Ski Federation (Deutscher Skiverband, DSV) there will be organized German championships in the categories slopestyle (16th of April) and halfpipe (17th of April 2011) for the first time. The intention behind this is to develop a significant ranking of German freeskiers, as well as assort hopeful talents. Despite the apparent performance cerebration the fun of freeskiing ist he most important aim of of the German championships. Both contests are soley organized with the riders and for the riders. In every aspect the contests are laid out for having fun and at the end of the season bring the riders impartial from other commitments to common sessions on the mountain. The categories of the contests will be men, women and rookies (younger than 16 years). All interested freeskiers from Germany as well as from other nations can participate. The starting fee will be 15 €. If you want to participate in both disciplines, the fee stands at 20 € all in all. The prices are besides some Xperia cell phones from Sony Ericsson some stuff from Line Skis, O’Neill and O’Neill.

- Registration (Restaurant): 9.00 am to 10.30 am
- Training: 9.00 am to 11.00 am
- Ridersmeeting (Judging-tent Halfpipe): 11.10 am to 11.15 am
- Contest: 11:30 am to 3.00 pm
- Pricegiving (terrace glacier restaurant): 3.45 pm
